Oliver Fetter Photography Lessons
About
There are two things about me that result in great photography lessons: I love to explore new techniques and use my camera to the fullest creative extent and I'm great at boiling down technical information and instruction to be bite-sized and easily understood. These combined together means the student learns gains an excellent understanding of their camera and how to use it!
I love taking photos! It's exciting to capture and create beautiful and unique moments of people and nature. It's awesome to be able to share this interest and enthusiasm of photography with people who are just starting out!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start with the technical side of things! Really help the student get to know their camera and what it is capable of. From there, they will have the ability to shoot and capture whatever they would like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a self-taught photographer - what really counts is getting the reps in, the more photos you take, the faster you learn!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Photography lessons start at $30/hr with the average lesson taking 1-2 hours, or till the student feels comfortable with the information. I will drive to the student for a flat $15 to cover my time and travel expenses.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who's work is attractive and interesting to you, then they can share their expertise!
