Safety NJ, based in Bloomfield, NJ, provides American Heart Association–authorized CPR and First Aid training for healthcare professionals and the public. Courses include Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid, and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED, offered in classroom and blended online-plus-skills formats, with options available in Spanish. AHA course completion cards are issued the day of class and are valid for two years. The company also offers instructor courses and skills testing.
Safety NJ teaches at its Bloomfield facility and delivers onsite training statewide for groups from small teams to large organizations, allowing clients to schedule at their location and convenience. Audiences served include EMS, nursing, physicians, dental and allied health, security, educators and coaches, child‑care providers, parents, and industry.
Beyond training, Safety NJ is an authorized distributor of Automated External Defibrillators, providing sales and training for HeartSine, Philips, and other major brands, along with AED accessories, Certified Safety first aid kits, and public safety equipment.
Instruction is led by an experienced cadre with more than 100 years of combined training backgrounds in the military, law enforcement, firefighting, EMS, and medicine. The owner, Scott Larson, brings five decades in EMS, 17 years in hospital roles, and more than 45 years of involvement with the American Heart Association. The Bloomfield location is easily accessible near the Garden State Parkway.
