About
A lot of trainers come to a session with a pre set agenda. My biggest strength is the ability to identify a players strengths and weakness. I meet the student where he or she is ability wise and grow their game from there.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I primarily work with children ages 8-15The first 15 minutes consist of stretching and a talent evaluation. This includes stationary dribbling drills followed by dribbling while running. A quick passing drill follows. Shooting and layups are next. By this time I have an idea of his or her physical abilities. We play a game of 1 vs 1 which measures his or her basketball IQ.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in psychology from Kean College. I am a boys basketball coach at North Plainfield High School. I have coached youth baseball football and basketball for the past 25 years. Currently I coach NJgiveNgo youth basketball program.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $35 dollars per hour and $30for 2 to 3 student. $25 for sessions that include 4 players or more.

What types of students have you worked with?
The past 3 years I coached freshman basketball at North Plainfield High School. This year shortened season we were undefeated at 8-0. I also volunteered as coach for NJgiveNgo AAU program based in Union,NJ. Which I will return to this summer as the 11and under teams coach.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am most proud of my 2024 NJ Give N Go AAU basketball team. I coach these boy from 6th -8th grade. They entered their freshman year this year. 3 made their varsity high school team. 4 made and started JV all other started for their respective freshman teams. My North Plainfield freshman team finished this shortened season at 8-0.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Passion and patience are the most important qualities in a trainer. Is your initial conversation rushed ? Then the session will probably be rushed. Is the trainer willing to explain in detail what drills and why they were chosen. Will the trainer measure the result and be able to show empirical proof of improvement?
