About
Baseball is 90% mental 10% skill. We first work on the mindset for the player wanting to go to the next level. In order to do that you need a coach. a coach that has played on all levels but also has been coached by the best in the game. Baseball is an amazing game, with an amazing history and you win with the fundamentals first. My speciality was speed, speed, and more speed. Defensive was another speciality as I played centerfield with pride and could track down line drives and take charge of the outfield. I knew how to get on base and put pressure on the pitcher and catcher. You will learn this as well.
I enjoy working with players that want to go to the next level but are also good people with character, drive and determination. I have played with the best in growing in NYC. Played at Archbishop Molloy H.S for legendary coach Jack Curran who played with Jackie Robinson in his career. During that time at Molloy we won City Championships at the old Shea & Yankee Stadium. Playing summer ball was amazing because I got to compete against the games best local talent like Manny Ramirez in the sandlots of NYC. I enjoy the fundamentals of the game and how to help an athlete use all their gifts to be help their teams win. Winning not only on the field but in life and being a well-rounded person. I enjoy helping players compete for scholarships so they can win financially for their families. I went to St. John's on a Full Baseball Scholarship 94-98. At SJU we competed and won Big East Championship in 1997 and went on to the NCAA Regionals. Played for legendary coaches such as Joe Russo and Ed Blankmayer. Lastly, signing professional contracts to play professionally in the Frontier League and then with the Detriot Tigers in their minor league system for short time. Let's work together to see how far your passion for the game will take you on and off the field.
