About
Focusing on mastering the fundamentals and cerebral aspect of the game - I use a high intensity, situational and “thinking in/out the box” program to improve player development. In 2010 I graduated from Eagle Academy For Young Men where I was a four year varsity boys basketball player, captain 2009-2010 and was apart of the undefeated 2007 PSAL Boys “B” championship team. The following year, Eagle Academy won the Bronx “A” I division and was awarded the #1 seed in the PSAL Boys “A” division but fell short in the quarterfinals. Post graduation I attended SUNY Potsdam where I was sidelined one year due to injury and played my second. Then I transferred into Purchase College where we won the 2014 Skyline Conference Championship and was ranked as high as #13 in the d3hoops.com poll. Returning highly motivated the next season I was awarded 2015 Purchase College Men's Basketball MVP; leading the Panthers in scoring, 3-pointers, Skyline Player of the Week 3x, and led the Skyline Conference in free throw percentage (92%). I have experience playing and coaching through the NYC AAU circuit, playing collegiately and voluntarily for Ball For Life AAU Inc., SUNY Potsdam Cub Club Basketball, Building Legacies EverywherE (NY BLEE AAU Basketball) and Riverside Church Hawks AAU. My coaching and skill development programs can be effective for children as young as 4 (Pre-K) to high school, college and amateur/pro (Ages 4-25). Certifications include First Aid/CPR, NYS Certified Schools Coach, Mandated Reporter, Suicide Prevention, Verified Volunteer, and NCAA Certified (Coach/Player). This past May 2016 I graduated Purchase College with a bachelor’s degree in the School of Humanities, and History with a focus on secondary/adolescent education. Currently I coach at Westlake High School/Middle School. Head Assistant Jv/Varsity, Head coach 8th grade Jr Wildcats. Great at group workouts as well as individuals.
