Friendly, approachable, detailed, and I love to motivate and support my students! I make it a goal to give individual attention to each student that is applicable to the entire class. One person's note can be everyone's note to work on! I am very passionate about the function of dance. I enjoy sculptung a technique that supports the longevity of a dancer and teaches a dancer how to be smart with injuries and how to approach material efficiently. I believe every dancer should be as versatile in as many styles as possible, and I strive to introduce many different types of material to my students.
The best part of class is seeing something "click" in a dancer's mind and seeing that principal applied and changing their approach to dance. I also enjoy the environment of class where I'm learning just as much from the class as they are learning from me. I love having a safe space to fail and succeed and be supported either way!

I received my B.F.A. in dance from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio in 2015. I studied pedagogy, kinesiology, jazz, ballet, tap, modern, choreography, musical theatre, voice, acting, and many more subject over my time at WSU.
I started teaching at the studio I grew up in- Metropolitans dance theatre of New Orleans. (MDTNO). My first few classes went so well, I kept asking for more opportunities to teach and choreograph.
I have worked with students of all ages and students who want to pursue dance and even students who just want to move for fun and not Perdue dance as a career.
