I help students, from elementary to college courses, not only understand concepts of the English language, but also find joy and connection to what they are learning.

With a Masters in Fine Arts in Drama and Dramatic literature from Columbia University, I have mastered ways to utilize creative inspiration and emotional intellect to have students fully connect to what they are learning and, most importantly, find tools to help better their learning processes. From book reports, to homework, to SAT and ESL courses, I am at your service to get the results you want, through carefully catered approaches.

    Frequently asked questions

    1. Meet and Greet 

    (it's important for me to get to know the student: who they are, what their goals in life are, and what they are currently working on to achieve those goals.)

    2. Discuss Difficulties 

    (have the student voice their concerns. Why they feel stuck in certain areas of comprehension? Test taking? Creativity? Listening? Speaking? Etc.)

    3. Plan of Attack 

    (after considering their needs, I will create a plan of attack for the students. Like creating a helpful and catered schedule for them to follow to work as much as they need daily and/or weekly.)

    4. Hold Them Accountable 

    (In the beginning of each class I review (1) things we learned or discovered last week? (2) what did they learn or difficulties they encountered on their own? (3) goals they have for today's lesson.)
