About

Hello, my name is Cameron Sewell-Snyder and am a saxophonist, composer, doubler, educator and I can't wait to help you achieve your musical goals!

Whether you are striving to be a weekend warrior on the horn or a professional saxophonist, I can take you to the next level. Together, we will work together addressing where you feel needs improvement as well as your personal goals within music and how I can help you accomplish them. Or even if you don't know where to start, I got your back.

Life is busy. With me, you don't have to be worried about being judged or ridiculed for how much you did/did not practice over the course of the week. My goal is to give anyone who has a passion for learning and the desire to achieve more, the tools to become a better instrumentalist. I will support and encourage my students no matter what level they are striving to succeed at. I believe in individualized learning, meaning one size does not fit all when it comes to private lessons. Based upon where I see a student needs improvement, I will work with them on their weaknesses to improve their level of playing.

I have almost a decade of performance experience with 3 years of teaching experience from 3 year olds to adults. I have a BM in Jazz Saxophone Performance from Temple University located in Philadelphia, PA. Currently, I am attaining my MM of Jazz Saxophone Performance at the Manhattan School of Music. In other words, I believe I have the experience and background to know what it means to be a learning and growing music student, and believe I have much information to help any aspiring saxophonist to get better!

Interested? Get in touch today and specify which instrument you would like to work with me!

All the best,

Cameron
