J.Q. is patient, methodical, and precise. His trumpet lessons are comprehensive, he makes sure to answer in detail and check that I understand before continuing. He effortlessly picks up where we left off, even if its been several weeks. Best of all, J.Q. is honest in his critique—if Im not doing something correctly he gently lets me know—and his suggestions get right to the heart of how to be a better trumpet player. Great teacher.
