    Frequently asked questions

For younger students I like to start with a set of books or images, technique building, and art theory. I believe young students learn best when they have a familiar structure to their lessons, and clear expectations about practice.

For older students (teenagers and adults) I like to start with a discussion about Art. Then I can recommend specific books that are best in helping them gain the skills they are most interested in

I have professional art education with bachelor's degree in art.  And degrees in art courses in multiple mediums – drawing, painting and sculpting, for example – as well as courses in art appreciation, theory and history.

However, I'm charging between $50 to $100 for an hour of one-on-one instruction and between $25 to $50 for an hour, per student, of small group instruction.

My friend ask me to teach him to draw, after that I discovered the passion for teaching and a love of being in Classroom.

Any types of students are welkome!

I have a  three student 5 years old, and five students above 40 years old.

A teaching portfolio (or dossier) is a coherent set of material that represents  teaching practice as related to student learning.

They have to ask themselves why they want to study Art?
