I enjoy the action, the deadline and the competition of getting that shot that will be published not just in NY but around the country and the world. Working as a News and entertainment photographer takes patience, drive, Tenacity and a quick shutter finger. When your a contributor for Getty images you MUST be able to adapt to changes fast make corrections edit images for quality and make the images sell. I also enjoy human interaction and bring out emotions that they can relate to.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start at the point of how much, if any knowledge they may have on Photography. I'll compare that with my method of instruction at a point where they can comprehend my lessons. This way I dont get ahead of, or make the lesson very complicated.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a pure Photographer working for 15 years plus. My career started as a master B&W film technician and color correction specialist in A New York City Professional Photo lab. I started with shooting unforgiving E6 slide film for most of my assignments that include major award shows around the country. When I say "Pure Photographer" meaning im a Photographer "PERIOD" I do Photograhy of "ANYTHING" and provide High quality images with the utmost in Professionalism. I started out shooting fashion testing for the Model agencies in New York City building Model Portfolios. I was then fortunate enough to meet a Photographer who turned me on to entertainment and Music Photography. My first real shoot was a concert which I shoot for Rollingstone Magazine, then after that red carpets, People magazine, Us Magazine Entertainment weekly and numerous magazines you see when standing in line at the cash register. The rest is History, as shown on my website.
