About

I fell in love with the game of softball at the age of five and that's when my passion for pitching began. In high school, I pitched varsity all four years with 1st Team All League and 2nd Team All County accolades. I continued my career at Drexel University where I became the starting pitcher for the club softball team as an extracurricular activity while studying Business Administration and Finance. My goal is to provide students with the proper pitching mechanics allowing athletes to throw with control, command and speed, while minimizing the risk of injury. In addition, I strive to instill the importance of discipline, confidence, and work ethic in my students as these three competencies serve as a catalyst for a successful softball career.

My favorite part about being a pitching coach is watching students progress from learning basic mecanics to being very skilled and knowledgable pitchers. I have satisfaction knowing that they are absorbing what they are taught in lessons and have the ability to apply those fundamentals into real game scenarios and ultimately becoming a master of the craft themselves.

Frequently asked questions

The first thing I like to do is get an understanding of their previous training, skill set, and mechanics. the first session I would extend the session time an extra 15 minutes to get to know the student on a more personal level and five deeper into their softball past. After warming up, I would then have the student perform a variety of drills so I can assess their stance, grip, motion (starting, backswing, forward movements and weight transfer), release, follow through and other key mechanics. After the initial assessment, I will then begin targeting the areas I would would like to address with the student in subsequent sessions.

I worked with a local youth softball team as the pitching coach since 2017 and have attended countless number of pitching lessons and sofbtall camps where I have trained with elite coaching staffs and modeled my coaching after their unique and effective styles.

$35 for 30 minute sessions and $60 for 60 minute sessions. The first session will be extended 15-30 minutes at no cost so I can properly assess the students mechanics and structure a personalized lesson plan.

I started coaching after graduating college in 2017 when I was asked to assist the local youth sofbtall team as a pitching coach. I fell in love with the coaching aspect of the game and I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge with young athletes and watching them grow into skilled and fearless players.

I have worked with students ranging from 10-17u with all different skill sets. I have worked with students who are learning the basic fundamentals of pitching and I have worked with students who have been pitching for multiple years but want to enhance their pitch selection.

My only advice would be to find a teacher that the student feels comfortable with and don't be afraid to voice any concerns, questions, or aspects of pitching they would like to work on so the teacher can focus in on those areas structure lesson plans that will have a greater impact on the student.

They should ask about their lesson plans, duration and frequency of lessons, pricing and what marerials and/or training plans the teacher can provide so they continuosly reinforce what they learned during the lesson on their own time.
