I am a professional bassoonist here in NYC and have taught bassoon for over 40 years. A graduate of the Juilliard School and with a Doctor of Musical Arts from SUNY StonyBrook, I am also on the faculties of the 92nd Street Y Music School and Sarah Lawrence College. Each summer I teach and perform at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in MI, mainly junior high and high school students. I welcome students online or at my studio here in the city. Beginning students must be able to read music. I welcome intermediate and advanced students as well! I have successfully guided students into some of the best conservatories and universities in America.

There was a world of information that I did not know. He quickly assessed the situation and began to impart me with foundational information.
