I love to meet different people from different backgrounds, and see how music brings us all together. I enjoy teaching and I love to see my students grow and improve, which i think is the most important thing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

During the first class, I will get to know the student's flute playing level, their purpose of learning the flute and communicate with them to find the best piece to start, based on their interest in music. For future lessons, according to each session, I will apply suitable playing techniques on the way of our learning process. 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Degree in Master of Music Performance at New York University, specializing in flute playing.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have 2 years of teaching experience, mainly working with university students. Teaching in both Mandarin and English.
