Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first interview students to understand their background, goals, and where they're at to create an individualized curriculum. Based on this information, we begin to make a portfolio, making sure students have a strong foundation in technical skills. Along the way, we check in with students to see their progress, comfort with their work, and to make sure goals are being met. Towards the end we help students organize portfolio works for SlideRoom and create engaging artwork descriptions to compliment their application.

We charge class plans for each semester, which run for about 21 weeks. Students have the option to sign up for 4 hour classes, which cost $100. We have two back-to-back classes available on the weekend and one, 4-hour class on the weekdays. Students must sign up for at least one class a week during each semester, and the number of classes per week goes up depending on their availability, goals, and the grade they're in.
