About
Founded in 2008, the New York Jazz Workshop is a community-based music school located in New York City. Created by Marc Mommaas and Marco Chelo, the school offers quality jazz education at affordable prices. They provide private lessons on a variety of instruments, from saxophone and piano to guitar and trumpet. Besides individual lessons, they offer ongoing weekly workshops and summer intensive programs. The New York Jazz Workshop is dedicated to providing an environment where people can come together to learn and play music, without the full-time commitment required by universities.
