About this pro

Learn Digital Photography, Photoshop CC and/or Lightroom Classic.
I’m an experienced teacher currently teaching Photoshop CC, Lightroom Classic and Photography at two of New Jersey’s leading art schools, and I know how to make learning fun and interesting. My teaching style is relaxed, with a straightforward approach, using my intuitive nature to guide the student’s development.
After finding out what you want to achieve, we’ll set some goals. The curriculum is very flexible, with the student setting the pace.

Photography: We'll cover basic camera functions, Shutter Speeds, f-Stops, ISO’s, Depth of Field and Camera menus. As well as the basics of good composition, Leading Lines, Pattern and Symmetry, Rule of Thirds, Texture and Framing, etc. This could also involve field trips, but that’s your call.
Photoshop CC & Lightroom Classic                                                                                                Starting with the basics, getting Images into the software, using the Tools, Adjusting Color, Image Sizing, Working with Filters, (and Layers in Photoshop) just to mention a few. Saving and Exporting images to the various file types, DNG, Tiff, jpg, among others and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Each session ends with something for you to work on at home.                                                                              If you don’t have a copy of Photoshop CC or Lightroom Classic, you can download a free fully functioning trial version for our classes and if you don't have a camera I can provide one for the class.
Lessons can be anywhere you choose, your home, the office, the local library, etc. I’ve even used Starbucks and Panera, on occasions. Lessons can be on Mac or PC.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Stay well.
            Bill Blanchard.
