About
Hello! I'm glad youv'e decided to give Art a chance. I believe it's one of the most important thiings we can do to make this place better. It refreshes the senses and makes you reflect. I've been painting and building objects, like most of us, since childhood... I just never stopped. The symbiotic process of sharing what I have aquired through years of practice with an openness to absorb new information, perspectives and angles is what makes the art Thing and its teaching so fascinating. There's a peculiarity in the way art transmits and difuses the data we recieve; poetry can be indescifrable, but not unrecognizable. We can digress on it's meaning but we can ALL relate to it as a material object being in the world. I see it as an oscillating scenario between Sense and intellect. We've all felt the impulse to make a mark, to feel that reciprocity between the material and the hand which makes drawing, or painting such a colossal activity. All the while the idea or concept creates an anchor to the world and the Imagination. So... Speculation meets perspiration. With all the multimedia amalgam at our disposal the possibilities in the creative, but also the theoretical, pedagogical and sociological realms are endless.
