About
If you need biology tutoring at any level, whether it be grade school, undergraduate, or even beyond, I can do it all. I am also a talented writer and can assist with personal statements and resumes. As a medical student, I have a strong background in science and use real life examples from clinical medicine to help reinforce otherwise abstract ideas. I graduated from Boston College in 2018 Magna Cum Laude with a BS Biology degree and a minor in medical humanities. I am the recipient of the Boston College Stanton Memorial graduation award, given to the student in the pre-medical program with academic excellence as well as personal character, leadership, and service. I am most skilled at molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and physiology. I can help students prepare specifically for these subjects on the MCAT. Additionally I worked as as a daycare teaching assistant and have years of experience teaching children of all ages. I would love to introduce grade school children to science. I can also teach basic biology for middle school/high school levels as well as Advanced Placement Biology.
I genuinely love teaching and mentoring. I have a true passion for biology and want to share that with all learning levels in an age appropriate manner. Science can be an intimidating subject so I making it simple by breaking down difficult topics into digestible concepts. As the first person in my family to go to college, I also enjoy guiding others in their own journey to medical school, whether that be succeeding in undergraduate biology courses, preparing for the MCAT, or strategizing for the medical school application processs.
