About
Hi, I'm Scott. I've been a musician most of my life and will go out as one. I'm personable, creative and enjoy helping others learn or expand there musical knowledge and skills. I customize my lessons to the students need and interests. My skills and resources as a producer of a great project studio allow me to augment the lessons with custom backing tracks. It also gives my creative students and outlet to explore songwriting and production.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As I get to know them I find out where they are with their musical development, ask where they want to go, or show them some ways to figure that out. Course material is created based on their current level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of private and college study, performing, writing and recording professionally led into teaching and producing other musicians. I found my people skills made me effective with a wide variey of artists and students with varried tastes and interests.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do. Private lessons are offerd on a weekly basis. Students are billed monthly with payment due by the first lesson each month. I accept all major credit/debit cards. Make ups are offered for the ocassional conflict with at least 24 hours advance notice.
Half hour lessons are $35 per lesson; Hours are discounted at $60 per lesson. A 15% discount is applied to any additional family members taking weekly lessons. For 3 or more members of the same family the per lesson rate drops an additional $5.
How did you get started teaching?
I startred in college. I was asked by people who came out to hear me performing with different bands or groups.
