About
I'm a full time visual artist with 30+ years of experience in drawing, painting, illustration and other media. I take the time to personalize my art lessons to meet the creativity, skill level and artistic needs of each student so they can get the most out of the lessons. My work has been exhibited in galleries and other venues for over 30 years and I've sold to private collectors, businesses and more so I have the passion and skills to help others grow their creativity.

caters to whatever interests the student prefers. Ive been away from drawing for many
years and Lauren has made the re-entry very exciting and motivating.

explanations on techniques of how to better understand what I need to do to get the desire
results of my artwork is great. She is also very good at progression for my current art level
which is challenging but what is expected from a good teacher.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we have a quick phone chat to discuss what theyw ant to get out of the lessons, if they have a specific medium or style they want to work with, their availability, etc. Then I schedule their 1st lesson or 2....most students come once for an hour, every other week but other options are available. I ask them to pre-pay for the 1st 2 lessons then they pay as they go. I'll provide some basic supplies and will give them a print out of the basic lesson plan and the supplies they'll need to bring. I ask for at least 24 hours notice for any cancelations ot rescheduling....I charge a $20 fee for last minute cancels unless they reschedule the lesson within the next 1-3 days.
