My name is Mark Carosiello, I'm the owner and staff photographer for Making Memories Photography 65. We are a vetern owned and operated business, located in Edison, NJ.
I have over 30 years experience in photography, and willing to share this knowledge to all that's eager and willing to learn this trade.
I am a well published photographer and a advid sports, nature and landscape photographer.
We teach a broad aray from the basics to advance photography.
We teach from begining to end and to the slowest person. No one is ever left out.
I enjoy the creating memories for people that will last a life time.
What is a photographer's special power?
Being one with your camera, teaching the skill and creating a storyline with pictures is best way to express your true feelings.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know the student through strengths and weaknesses about what they already know about their camera.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates Degree in Digital Photography
Certifications in Wedding, Portrait, Landscape, Nature, Sports, and Wildlife Photography.

Prices for classes start at 40.00 per class (2 hour Class)
Workshops start at $150.00 per class
How did you get started teaching?
I was an instructor in the military, teach Soldiers how to become leaders and train their Soldiers. I enjoy teaching, sharing my knowledge and watching my students grow.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked with all types of students from beginners to advance and special needs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My recent event I am fond of is getting picked up and freelancing for Major League Photos, to shoot action sports for the little league. Seeing their faces, looking at themselves on the computer at home plate, running the bases and/or sliding makes this all worth it.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be prepared to get taught from the bottom to the top.....Willing to learn a hobby that would benefit you in the long run. Doing assignments and following direction.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is this what I really want to do?
Will I have the time to dedicate?
Will I have the funds to buy the necessary equipment?
