I am a graduate from Berklee school of music with a master in jazz studies. I studied music in an academic setting my entire life. But then, I discovered that I was thought the fast way. The way to just get a gig. I then through a friend discovered joe Solomon. Joe’s teaching is the way to internalize the language of music. It’s the way to have a voice and a vocabulary. I cannot thank Michelle enough for the tools and knowledge she has given me through voice lessons. I started working with Michelle in college and am still so grateful to have her as a voice teacher! She helped me stretch my vocal range, strengthen my mix, perfect my chest and belt voice- all while telling the story and staying engaged. Michelle is classically trained, and is very knowledgable in proper vocal technique and training. I have seen many actors struggle with vocal damage, or poor technique and am so thankful Michelle gave me the proper tools to keep my voice healthy. I am currently on the Sister Act International tour and performing 8 shows a week (singing a high pingy nun belt!) can be very daunting. Thanks to Michelle I am able to place my voice properly through warm ups and exercises. I cannot wait to get back to the city to see Michelle!
