What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First lesson is an evaluation, I see where the player is at then guide them to proper mechanics so they can get were they need to be for consistent success. I teach through progressions so that each player can get a feel and work up to the steps it take to be successful in this great game of baseball.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a player I played at a high level for many years. I played at a top HS in NY where I was an all city Shortstop. I played for Puerto Rico’s Junior National Team. Played College ball and 2 years of Pro Ball overseas.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are typically 45 mins long and are $70
How did you get started teaching?
After my playing days I decided to make baseball my job, my love and passion for the game runs deep and I wanted to share it with young players that are serious about the game as I was.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve been blessed to coach from youth players all the way up to guys currently play Pro baseball. I coach a nationally ranked club team out of our facility, I coach at the top HS program in the Tri State Area, I Coaches 6 years in the California Collegiate League, some of the top college players in the country and blessed to have 52 guys that I have coached playing in various levels of Pro Ball.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The most important element is to find a trainer you can connect with, chemistry is everything the best teacher is one not only with knowledge but one who can connect and get on the level of their student to achieve optimal results.
