Pros are developed at Players Edge. They have experienced trainers spanning from years of playing at different levels and coaching players from youth through pro.
Theres a reason why this organization build teams and athletes that are nationally ranked.
Two coaches that standout are Lou Colon and Dan Gilligan. Dan has perfected the art of hitting and during our time with him, he was able to correct my boys mechanics taking them to the next level in a short period of time.
As for Lou, words can not express what he means to the development of our boys. Lou is the total package and our go to guy. Not only is he one of the best fielding coaches in the whole area, but he truly understands how to get the most out of young athletes.
He fully invests and truly cares about the betterment of the young players. Helping them become the best athlete and person they can be.
With Lou, players learn the professional way to play baseball.

Coach Lu explains things better than other coaches I’ve worked with before. Working is fun and effective. Feels like family when I’m there.

Frequently asked questions

First lesson is an evaluation, I see where the player is at then guide them to proper mechanics so they can get were they need to be for consistent success. I teach through progressions so that each player can get a feel and work up to the steps it take to be successful in this great game of baseball.

As a player I played at a high level for many years. I played at a top HS in NY where I was an all city Shortstop. I played for Puerto Rico’s Junior National Team. Played College ball and 2 years of Pro Ball overseas.

Lessons are typically 45 mins long and are $70

After my playing days I decided to make baseball my job, my love and passion for the game runs deep and I wanted to share it with young players that are serious about the game as I was.

I’ve been blessed to coach from youth players all the way up to guys currently play Pro baseball. I coach a nationally ranked club team out of our facility, I coach at the top HS program in the Tri State Area, I Coaches 6 years in the California Collegiate League, some of the top college players in the country and blessed to have 52 guys that I have coached playing in various levels of Pro Ball.

The most important element is to find a trainer you can connect with, chemistry is everything the best teacher is one not only with knowledge but one who can connect and get on the level of their student to achieve optimal results.
