Follow up review on Coach Morgan: hired her to train my 12yr old cousin who had taken a year off and grew taller so he was pretty rusty. In tailoring the lessons she took into account what I believed he needed to train the most in but also identified other key areas - specific ones - that I hadn't noticed after just the first training session. (i.e. tweaking his shooting form as he had a weird one, fixing the way he shot his free throws, etc.). She was also able to communicate with him to get his perspective as to what he thought he needed to work on during the training and any questions he may have had. Morgan was also patient with him in dealing with his attitude when doing some of the drills (like not wanting to use his off-hand). Overall an excellent trainer - I plan on trying to find a way to get him on the AAU team she coaches as well. Excellent trainer with great experience who understands the game of basketball as well as the athletes needs.

Very knowledgeable and experienced. Picks up on the athletes strengths and weaknesses after a single session. Tailors the session to fit what you/the athlete want to work on the most.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Looking at their strengths and weaknesses. Building up certain steps that could players enhance their skill set at a high level. I love to start by improving players shooting techinques and ball handling first and foremost. Average, good or great their is still alot to learn about the game of basketball. Basketball comes with fundementals and players have to learn how to process those steps with different structures.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I been training all age groups for about 5 years now. I understand what it takes to become great. I have been playing basketball for about 15 years now. I enjoy motivating and helping my players grow as a unique individual. I definitely try to emphasize on the learning part and apply the fundamentals for the game of basketball. I want my players to enhance their skill set and IQ level to become the best they can be on and off the court. I'm very passionate about the game of basketball and been playing for about 15 years now. I played on the college level at Bloomfield College Div II. I was a 1,000 point scorer, made first and second team all conference my fours year there.
