Ive thus far had one session with Coach Kevin. The first thing that impressed me was his resume. Hes had a very successful career and through that, hes gained a ton of knowledge regarding the game. His passion for basketball is evident from the start. My goal is to compete in a 35 and over league next year and despite my age (39), Coach Kevin did not hesitate to work with me. I look forward to working with him in the future!

I began teaching kids because of my passion for basketball and a desire to share my love for the game with the next generation. My journey as a former professional player naturally led me to pass on my skills and knowledge, inspiring young athletes to embrace the sport and develop their potential.
I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of players, including boys and girls aged 8 to 40. My coaching experience spans a wide spectrum, from enthusiastic youngsters just starting their basketball journey to dedicated professionals looking to refine their skills in the game.
I recently had the pleasure of witnessing a truly rewarding event. Two of the players I've been mentoring since their 5th and 6th grades received D2 and D1 basketball scholarships. It was an incredibly proud moment for me, seeing their hard work, dedication, and talent pay off as they take their game to the next level. It's moments like these that remind me why I'm so passionate about coaching and nurturing young talent in basketball.
When looking to hire a basketball trainer in my area of expertise, I would strongly advise players to prioritize knowledge and experience. Basketball is a game where every bit of expertise matters, and it can make the difference between an average player and an exceptional one. Look for a trainer who not only has a deep understanding of the fundamentals but also keeps up with the latest techniques and strategies in the sport. Additionally, consider their coaching experience and track record of helping players achieve their goals. A knowledgeable trainer can be the key to unlocking your full potential on the basketball court.
When speaking to trainers about their needs, players should consider asking themselves the following questions: 1. What specific position or role do I want to excel in on the basketball court? 2. What are my current strengths and weaknesses as a player? 3. What are my short-term and long-term basketball goals? 4. Are there any specific skills or aspects of my game that I want to focus on improving? 5. What is my preferred style of play, and do I need specialized training in that regard? 6. How committed am I to putting in the time and effort required for improvement? 7. Do I have any physical limitations or injuries that the trainer should be aware of? Thinking through these questions can help players have a more productive and tailored discussion with potential trainers, ensuring that their training sessions are aligned with their individual needs and goals.
