Patience, availability for questions and dedication to my desire to learn best define my experience with Patrick. It was such dedication that also made him call me out when he didn’t think I was doing my best or was making careless mistakes. Perhaps this wouldn’t be that outstanding except that Patrick did all of this long distance; he was in Philadelphia and I was in Delaware. He was timely in mailing me assignments and tests, and even more so in grading and returning them. I learned more from him in the 2 years I studied with him than I did in my last year of theory in my undergrad at music school. If you have the opportunity to study with Patrick Kreeger, consider yourself lucky. You couldn’t find better quality teaching elsewhere.”

She teaches at a level appropriate for the student, while having a deep knowledge of music theory on which to draw for inquiring minds. I had the privilege of studying piano with Margarita Zelenaia for several years before her move to New Jersey ended our lessons. She is a professional of the highest caliber, a gifted teacher, who encourages, explains, demonstrates, and guides the student to mastery across a wide musical repertoire. Margarita has the ability to teach students at all levels - from the beginner to the advanced level. Although I no longer enjoy her physical presence, I hear her words and see her notes, marked on the musical text, whenever I sit down at the piano. I like how Matt insists on slowing everything down to really get a good understanding of notes, rythem, etc. He is a very fun person and knows a LOT about music. Matt is a super supportive instructor!
