What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With young students I introduce them to many mediums, pencil, ink, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and oil.
The older students choose the medium that they prefer to achieve their goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always had a desire to draw and paint from a very young age. After high school, I was trained as a stained glass artist and worked in this field for eight years. As a result of my training I also studied the "Masters of Art." Through different books, I learned the technical parts of painting, including composition, perspective, color relations, etc.

How did you get started teaching?
In 1997, I opened a "Studio of Art" in Waldwick, N.J., and I have been teaching art skills until the present time.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught a variety of students ranging from 10 years to senior citizens. In addition, many of my students are professional individuals ranging from teachers, engineers, doctors etc.
