Soccer Lessons
About
I concentrate on basic soccer. Reinforcement of the basics that separate the good soccer player from the great soccer player. No gimmicks. Trapping, passing, shooting, and dribbling are the cornerstones of this game and my teaching philosophy.
Soccer is the best game in the world! I enjoy watching how a player progresses and gets better. Players get better on their own with hard work and dedication. The coach only guides them. Helping a player see his/her potential and helping them develop is what I like most about coaching. I like being that guide!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by asking what they want to improve on. Every session should have a specific goal in mind. Once I know what a player wants to work on I evaluate them in that area to see where the improvement is needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a F license from USA Soccer along with their Grassroots certification.
Played in Belgium and Portugal in the Summer of 1995 with my youth travel team.
Played on a top 10 nationally ranked Junior College soccer program.(1996-1998)
Part of the Western Massachusetts Bay program (1994)
Member of the Massachusetts Olympic Development Program, district 7(1995-1997)
Three years Division One Western Massachusetts varsity high school Soccer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
i am currently $50 dollars an hour. I am willing to negotiate the pricing based on need and number of sessions requested.
How did you get started teaching?
This is my first opportunity exploring this profession. I left the game for quite a while. I got back into the game when my son started playing and found my passion for it again in coaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have mostly coached between the ages of 7 through 11. I enjoy mostly players between the ages of 10 and 14. I find that these are the players I can have the most impact on.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say look for a coach that is into seeing player improvement and not just going through the motions. Someone who will take the time to see that a skill is not just learned but understood.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

How many hours do I need to get better?
