Trumpet Lessons

I am a trumpet teacher with 30 years of experience of teaching and performing. I specialize in trumpet and other brass instruments, including trombone, French horn, and baritone horn. My approach to trumpet lessons is focused on developing of a solid base of sound production, as well as teaching music theory, ear training, and understanding of music styles. Most importantly, my mission is to inspire students to discover their talents and passion, while instilling a love in music.

I studied music at Gliere Music College and Kharkiv State Academy of Culture in Ukraine, where I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Trumpet Performance and Music Education.

As a music teacher and a parent, I taught my children to play musical instruments thru their school years. My students were playing in NJ Regional orchestra and Symphonic band, Bergen County Youth orchestra, performed at Carnegie Hall, as well as won several Musical International competitions.

I enjoy to pass my knowledge and experience to new generations of musicians, see improvements from my students every lesson, and creatively conduct each lesson based on students’ performance level.
