About
I am a very creative person. I utilize different teaching methods to engage the students I work with, enhance the learning process, and transfer knowledge. I’m not jut a teacher at heart, but an artist, performer, writer, poet, and reporter. I have two TESOL Certifications and a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education History/SS from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
I teach on-line, English as a second language to adults as well as children. I have worked as a substitute teacher K-12 for over ten years in the public school system. I am currently working as substitute teacher at Sullivan West Central School in Jeffersonville, NY for the past four years. I teach writing, art, and empowerment workshops at Sullivan County Boces, library’s, and at the Women’s Conference at SUNY Sullivan.
I enjoy assisting people of all ages find ways to tape into the creativity that exits within them. I like to work at jobs where I can enjoy what I am doing and not just feel it’s a job. Those I work with, as they grow, so do I. It is a rewarding expierence to be able to help people, achieve their goals.
