Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I believe that everyone is talented. And my mission is to help student to relax, to let go all the worries and enjoy the process of creation. I would start from basic rules and talk about student goals. We have to understand first what we would like to achieve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Diploma in Architecture and Construction. I have teaching experience in arts and descriptive geometry in Art College, and also worked as a fashion designer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing could vary depending on travel distance and art supplies, if I have to provide them. It could be from 25 to 50 dollars per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I used to work at the Art college teaching art and geometry years ago. And get back to this a couple years ago, doing meditative/relaxation painting sessions with small groups of students.
What types of students have you worked with?
Adults, women.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Of course, first you have to look at the artwork of an artist who you are willing to hire.
Always give it a try. You never know how much you will enjoy the art lessons if you'd never try.
