About
I’ve been instructing public, private and virtual/online step-by-step paint classes for 10 years.
I started out hosting tile art paint parties where guests would create their own tile art coasters. I then instructed canvas paint classes at Pinot’s Palette for 4 years. When that studio closed, I started my own business, offering canvas paint parties - public, private and virtual sessions. I am currently based in Tucson, AZ.
I enjoy instructing these classes as it’s very fulfilling to see beginners feel confident, take pride in their pieces, and feel inspired to create more.
I have instructed classes of all sizes (from one painter to 300 painters!), all ages and all levels of experience.
My paint classes are a very welcoming, accepting and offer a non-judgmental environment for all. If you’re interested in a paint session with a fun-loving, very patient instructor, we may be a great fit!
I appreciate open-minded painters who can leave perfectionism at the door!

My step-by-step instructions make these painting classes easy and fun for all ages and all levels of experience. Ages 7+.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I’m fond of so many of my classes and events! For example, the public breast cancer fundraiser event that raised $900 for The American Cancer Society; or the family holiday get-together where the hosts served ice cream sundaes and soda floats!.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Meet with the instructor or have a telephone conversation with them. Ask to see photos or reviews. Go with your feelings ... if it feels right, you'll know. If you have hesitation or doubt about the connection, keep looking. You want to feel comfortable with your instructor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you new to painting? What type of painting do you find interesting? What artist or piece of art stands out to you? What colors do you like? Do you prefer bold, bright colors or neutral/natural colors? What themes are interesting to you? What do you hope to achieve from this class?
