    Schuyler is very patient! She is so good at seeing where I am on a piece and giving me direction on how to work from there. Intonation, timing, musicality-she can work with it all and meet me where I am. I am so thankful for the time I get to work with Schuyler every week!!


What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to access a student's familiarity with the instrument, then suggest a method book for them. I work with students on tone development, technique, and healthy playing positions, while incorporating music theory and history in an encouraging environment.
