About
I bring excitement to my teaching with great enthusiasm. I have been a teacher/instructor for more than 25 years. My approach to teaching is determined by my student or students in the class. I also think it is important to listen to my students or ask the question What would you like to learn or what is giving you trouble. No question is a bad question.
I have a background in art that spans 30 plus years. I have a head filled with knowledge, and nothing pleases me more than to see my students take what I have taught and see them grow.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I think about my itinerary and plan ahead of time. I like to have an idea of what it is that I would like to teach. This is very flexible. Once I get to know a student, I will adjust my process to align his or her needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at The Art Students League for six years after graduating from Millburn Senior High School in New Jersey. I lectured at The Chicago Art Institute, The School of Visual Arts in NYC and ran figure drawing classes at The Montclair Art Museum. This is a very condensed version of my teaching experience.
