What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually find out how good the student is at playing guitar, I ask about their influences and goals. If the student is a beginner I start with the basics or what I think they should focus on before moving further to the next topic. I have handouts, homework, and the student is expected to practice on their own for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour a week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching guitar and bass guitar since 2021 on takelessons.com. I started by teaching classes and making tutorial videos on how to play guitar and bass guitar and started teaching private lessons.
