I believe that my art lessons stand out because I'm totally commited to creating a space where my student[s] is getting the full range of art instruction drawing on my work as an illustrator, designer and painter. I've worked in advertising, surface and textile design and have been teaching since 2005.
Besides each student learning a new skill, I encourage play and exploration of the medium in a variety of subject matter. I've spent over 40 years in the creative field and have enjoyed it immensely! Being able to create something beautiful, thought provoking or solving a design problem. It's still pretty exciting facing a blank canvas or sheet of paper because of all the possibilities!
I've always been a doodler and it's been great fun developing some of them into illustrations or paintings. The skills I learned working digitally as a textile designer are being used in my art now.
