My background is firmly rooted in education and I own and opperate my own sucessful photography business.
I am a family and lifestyle photographer serving Central and South Jersey specializing in maternity, newborns, and families. I am a natural light photographer who is also a wife and the mother of six pretty great kids! I strive to capture honest laughter and authentic connection between family members. I am drawn to clean, organic moments that will be treasured for a lifetime.
I hold a B.A. degree in English and Education from Georgian Court College in Lakewood, NJ and a Masters of Education degree in Reading and Language from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, MA. She also holds three teaching certifications from the State of NJ as a certified Teacher of English, Teacher of the Handicapped and Reading Specialist.
Elizabeth is a currently a resident of Monmouth County NJ and for the majority of her life. She is actively involved in her community as a CCD teacher at St. Joseph’s Church in Millstone, NJ for the past nine years and is a volunteer kindergarten assistant supporting various school activities and roles.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually asses what level my students are at and then work from where they are familiar and comfortable. I cover the basics of the exposure triangle, finding the light and good solid composition.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified teacher and am running my own photography business.
How did you get started teaching?
I studied education in college and truly love teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with middle and high school children. Most recently I taught photography to a young woman with health issues. This was a very rewarding. It was so fun seeing her excitement for learning the new material!
