About
As a former High School teacher and University Instructor, I have developed an intuitive sense of where my students are having problems. Then I create a teaching method designed to smooth the way for this and similar problems. I can solve your problems the way your professor wants or my easy to understand methods.
I enjoy making my student so proficient that they enjoy the process of solving problems. If I can change 'I hate math!' to 'I can do this!', then that is tremendously satisfying.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I try to get a sense of our starting point (heading for a C in Math 201, a B in HS 9th grade STEM, etc.). Next what are your goals (1400 on the SAT, graduate HS, etc.). Make sure our learning styles are compatible. Discuss where, when, and how often to meet. Get Started!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught chemistry at Universities in class, in lab and online (Pace U & Baruch College). I have also taught STEM at two HS and we won the 3rd place ‘Award for Innovation in Engineering, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.’ I have a Chemistry Ph.D. (Princeton), Masters, BSc and a minor degree in Math, and a Masters in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (Princeton).
