Growing up she trained pre-professionally at Mid Maryland Performing Arts Center in Frederick, Maryland for 15 years and was a member of their performance company for 8 years. Here she trained in styles including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, musical theater, hip-hop, contemporary, and pointe. Kellie currently teaches dance fitness, barre, cardio toning, and stretch classes in New York at Dancebody and BodMod Fitness. She has taught movement focused classes to persons ranging in age from 3 to 93. She believes that dance and movement are essential to all and has dedicated her time and ability to spreading the joy they bring.

Dance and movement are so important for quality of life. Whether you're training in technique or simply looking for a fun release of energy. I believe the movement holds the capacity to produce a multitude of benefits for all bodies.

Kellie is personable and fun! She has a lot of experience, so she knows how to deal with different levels of dancing. I have had some training and she was able to pick up where I left off!

    Frequently asked questions

First off, every lesson begins with a simple easy to follow warm that's based off the students initial ability, age, and technique. From there, I will adjust my speed of teaching and working on material to see where the student best fits. Each individual session is focused on the student's needs and abilities and once those are recognized we will begin to cultivate and develop them together.
