Hi there,

I’m Matt, a portrait and headshot photographer, based on the Upper West Side, New York City. I have a studio on New York's upper west side, which also includes a grand piano - black, beautiful and in showroom condition.

I love teaching, and it would be my pleasure to teach you!

I have photographed a wide range of people for their projects, including musicians, singers. actors, dancers, models, corporate - headshots and portraits, album covers, live concerts and on location.

I have mostly worked with individual clients but would like to expand my work into editorial, fashion and commercial/brand projects. I've been photographing professionally for around 7 years now.

Education completed at the ICP (International Centre of Photography), multiple courses including Studio Lighting, Natural Light Photography, Commercial, Editorial Portraiture, Street Photography.

The true joy in photography for me however, is actually nothing do to with the camera. Seeing the joy someone gets in seeing themselves in a way they've never have before, finding new a confidence, seeing their own beauty, seeing someone achieve their career goals or dreams with their new photos, is really the true satisfaction.

I also get real satisfaction out of teaching - seeing a student finally understand something whether it be aperture or shutter speed, off-camera flash or composition, posing a model or basic camera settings is a real thrill.
