Randy Klein - Songwriting Coach - Music Composition And Theory
About
Mostly, I aim to make the student be musical right from the first lesson. It makes the entire process wonderful when the student feels the music. I have a 30 plus year career in the music business. I have been teaching music and have the experience to work with all types of personalities. Music is most important.
Easy...I have always wanted to be a pianist and musician since I was old enough to reach the piano. I get to live my dream and share my knowledge with others. How cool is that?

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I immediately ask about the goals of the student. Why do they want to play piano??? What is the problem they are having with their song? Can they connect the music theory to what they are hearing? I am very concerned that the student is headed in the direction they want to proceed right from the start. I am a very caring teacher.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 30 plus year career in music as a pianist and composer. See my bio for awards, etc. My main focus is to be musical at whatever level the student is at. I am still a student of piano as well as a teacher. My joy is seeing someone being musical.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I require a 24 hour cancellation of a lesson or the student is charged. I have a waiting list for students and it isn't fair to others or to me as a teacher for a late cancellation. I suggest an every other week lesson schedule if my fee is too high for once a week. I design the work around that schedule. This method is preferred by many students.
1 hour session - $80.00
45 minute session - $50.00
30 minute session - $45.00
Single song written evaluation - $25.00
