About
I do customized work on a large and small scale on a sliding budget. Which means I work with you on price depending on details and size. I have a strong background in portraits and landscapes and a foundation in street art. I have done theatre backdrops for ten years and huanted houses and themed resturants as well. I currently have been working at New Day for 2 years working with youth in transitional living. meaning kids of the street. I teach them art and different ways they can make a living with art.
I love helping people express themselves and build confidence through giving encouragement and inspiration. Showing fun techniques is just the begining but helping others find thier true inner artist is the destination.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have a discussion about your intrest and what direction you would like to grow as a artist. Also what art histor¥ you have. If none dont worry.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I airbrushed t shirts at the age of 13 for a couple of years. Later worked at the A.S.I the mayors art summer institute where I learned about rythum pattern and compisition and also abstract art as well and muralism. I learned backdrop painting working with Mother Road theatre company for several years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing ranges from 10 dollars an hour and up depending o time and detail of the class or paying for a month to month fee which can give you a discount. But steal working with people individually. such as a 45 min class for younger students for 8 dollars i just depends on the individual needs for each student and the care that is put into each class.
How did you get started teaching?
Anytime I needed someone to help me with a project or just collaberated with another artist I saw the communication that took place abd immediately saw a student teacher relationship with whom evr I worked with. I got into more at the age of 18 during the summer art program Iwas in.
What types of students have you worked with?
My students have ranged from the ages of 5 to 45 or older. Ive worked with youth in encarsuration and adults as well which is my passion. Also teenagers that are homeless or in transitional living and youth in gangs or people that have delt with violence or trauma. Kids that are advance in one area such as gifted kids or kids with autism which I consider somewhat gifted based on the levels of capacity to learn which are extremely high due to the lack of attention put on normal sociallization which can become a destraction in todays society.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My last class online with youth from Las Cruses and youth from Albuquerque New Mexico expaining precolonized language and history based upon different idealisms and concepts of death. Specifically Dia de los Muertos. Helping youth embrace the concept of alters and respect for ones heritage and history and tradition. This is lost in todays society so to see it so loved and embraced by youth and adults aike is inspiring and world changing on so many levels considering the hate that is being teach in todays modern society.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Never quit expressing yourself no matter what anyone says! Look for someones work you admire and ask them how they did it because to you it might seem like magic and you want to know how it was achieved. Also a teacher who does not bully who are someone that isnt a person of admiration should be doubeted as a teacher sometimes. But theres always a lesson.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do I admire this person? do I care to develope even a crumble of inspiration from this bread of knowlegde? Does this person care about my needs? Who am I? What due I want and need?
