About

I get guitarists on the path they want by filling in the blanks or starting them from the beginning. Weekly routines that revolve as they achieve personal benchmarks. All lessons are done through Zoom so scheduling is easy and there's no commute!

I love guitar, improvising, unpacking theory, harmony, parts and forms of songs.

Tom is so great! He’s patient, and a great teacher. He’s adapted to my learning style and I am already learning songs!

I always evaluate their current skill level and goals. I look at the the time they have to put in and develop a routine to reach their goals.
I have a music degree focused primarily on the guitar with a background in Rock, Pop and Jazz. I have studied with great professors and players from Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, amongst others. 20 years teaching and coaching experience. I have years of performance experience with several bands playing recording sessions and venues small to big festivals.
I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels on several different instruments all with different sets of goals. These days I work mostly with self taught guitarists trying to improve their improv skills and general creativity.
Dead and company final shows. Scary Goldings show last week. Phish shows.
Have your goals outlined and prepare for a well tailored plan that will help you achieve your goals.
