Artist and Teacher,Joy Ebel has been a Professional Painter for 40 years and a Ceramist for 26 years.
She has been teaching Art for 25 years.
I love the chalenge of learning each students unique style and ability to design an individual path to master the technique and skill that best suits them,weather Ceramics, painting or drawing

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach each step to mastery of Painting or Ceramics. I include history and vocabulary to instill students communication of craft. I specialize in preparing students portfolios for acceptance into New Mexico School of Arts and other Arts Schools.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Painting at the College of Santa Fe, Ceramics at Xavier University, Art Ed at UNO .
I was awarded Principal of the Year in Northern NM in 2018.
