I am a professional fine art Landscape and Nature photographer from Las Vegas, NV. I have won awards, been published for not only my landscapes but also my portrait photography. I have lots of experience from paid jobs such as weddings and fine art commissions as well as my personal portfolio on my website.
I love being out in nature or taking photos of a client knowing that I am capturing a moment in time. My job as a photographer is to capture and create a representation of that unique moment in time.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to first asses my students current level of knowledge. From there, I'll ask a series of questions to determine the student's interests and their goals. Once I've done that, I'll develop a lesson plan based on building knowledge and practical applications of what is learned. This way the student grows and learns at a comfortable pace for them and gets to apply their lesson in real life to gain experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
8 years of professional photography experience in landscape, nature, portrait, wedding and commercial photography.
How did you get started teaching?
Started teaching a person I meet while working a job. He was already into photography and I offered to help him improve his skills to capture the things he was already taking pictures of.
What types of students have you worked with?
Several students ranging in age from 20 years old to 60 years old.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I became a board member for the Las Vegas Artist Guild. They are a non profit organization that helps local Las Vegas artists.
