What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At our first meeting I will ask what their skill level is in drawing or painting and then have the student start on their first piece.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken basic arts and craft classes in Jr high school through high school, I've also studied fine arts at San Francisco City College and took more art classes at my local community college.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons start at $35 per hour which will include the necessary supplies and matierials.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at a Paint and sip type of studio for just a little more than a year.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with 5 to 80 year old kids.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm very fond of instructing paint parties.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that keeps it fun when it is not.
