We are a full service driver's education school offering behind the wheel instruction and online driver's education. We are licensed by the state of Nevada and, as a retired police officer, I am passionate about teaching life long safe drivers. We have new cars and all are equipped with passenger/teacher safety devices to ensure a safe and stress free lesson.
NV Driver’s Ed is a Las Vegas driving School offering the Nevada DMV required 30-hour teen driver’s education course entirely online.
You may not be aware of this, but the majority of online driver’s ed classes offered to Nevada residents are actually from corporations outside of Nevada. The problem with this is that the education you are getting from these out of state companies are not specifically geared towards Nevada drivers. Instead, they offer only generic driving information that could be detrimental to you when you take your Nevada drivers test.
While most driving schools in Las Vegas charge between $50 and $125 for their 30-hour online teen drivers ed course, NV Drivers Ed maintains the lowest price in Nevada.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New and inexperienced drivers are generally apprehensive about driving. This is normal. Before I begin a lesson, I speak with the student and parent or guradian to determine the level of experience, areas of particular concern and what the student's goal is. I have found that once a student is able to relax, they learn much more easily. That is what I strive for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a retired police officer with years of training the public and other officers in a wide variety of subjects, to include driver safety, accident avoidance, driving the vehicle to it's limits and controlling it, when needed. I have also been a licensed drive instructor in the state of Nevada for approximately two years and a half years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our lessons are taught in two hour blocks and cost $100. This includes all costs for the vehicle, drop off and pick and instructor costs. We accept payment by credit card, cash or check. Payment is due before or at the time of service.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Before you hire a teacher for driving lessons, make sure that they are, at minimum, a licensed instructor and that they have safe equipment. It is equally important to try and determine how committed your instructor is to actually teaching, as some are doing it to simply make a little money on the side. This is our business and we take it very seriously. We are professionals with a lifetime of experience.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself:
1. What are my strengths as a driver?
2. What are my weaknesses as a driver?
3. Will I learn with this instructor?
4. What is my ultimate goal in taking these lessons? Get my license? Become safer? More confident?
