I have been a teacher for many years and now I have been tutoring for several. I have always had a passion to help young people and I have many activities and methods to enhance your learning skills. I will make you make confident with your abilities and strive toward making you an independent learner

As a lifelong swimmer and lover of the water, I make sure to transfer my passion for the sport to those I coach and work with. I make sure to fully understand the needs of my students and then develop a structured work plan to ensure long-term success. The most enjoyable part of coaching and giving private lessons is the ability to witness my students gain comfort and confidence in the water as they progress through my training plan and ultimately watching them reach their goals.

My name is Margaret Ford. I am an immigrant who came to the US at the age of 17. I am the product if a catholic school where language was emphasized. My first teaching assignment was as an ESL and bilingual teacher at the middle school level. I taught citizenship and English at adult school. Most of my career was at the high school level. I was a foreign language teacher in the public schools for 32 years. I taught ESL, French and Spanish. I have experience with all grades K-12 and adults. I am respectful, gregarious and use a soft touch in the classroom. I am dedicated to practice and learn more about language methods. I
